About the Air Show

Celebrating 100 years of Naval Aviation achievement, the next Great State of Maine Air Show & Business Aviation Expo will be held August 27 and 28, 2011 at the new Brunswick Landing: Maine's Center for Innovation located at the former Naval Air Station Brunswick in Brunswick, Maine. NASB is closing in 2011, so the next air show will be Maine's first civilian presentation at Brunswick Landing.

The Great State of Maine Air Show has enjoyed a proud tradition of thrilling and adventurous aerobatics and aviation demonstrations at NASB. With over 200,000 visitors to the midcoast Maine region in the past, the Air Show has been one of Maine's premier events.

Past performers have included the US Navy's Blue Angels, Patty Wagstaff, Team Chaos, Rob Holland, John Mohr, Gary Ward, Randy Harris, and Neil Darnell in the Flash Fire Jet Truck.

This show is hosted by the Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority which is responsible for managing the transition of Naval Air Station Brunswick from military to civilian use.
