Hosted for the second time by the Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority (MRRA), the Great State of Maine Air Show has been presented by the US Navy at Naval Air Station Brunswick (NASB) in the past. With the closing of NASB May 2011, future air shows will be civilian operated air shows and take place at the new Brunswick Executive Airport at Brunswick Landing: Maine's Center for Innovation.
As one of Maine's premier events, the Great State of Maine Air Show has enjoyed a proud tradition of thrilling and adventurous aerobatics and aviation demonstrations. With thousands of visitors to the midcoast Maine region in the past, the Air Show is a much anticipated Maine event featuring amazing aviation and aerobatic demonstrations, static displays and exhibits, reserved seating, VIP chalets, interactive booths and the world-famous US Air Force Thunderbirds.
